Manila, Nov. 14 -- The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) will recruit 4,000 officers for commissionship and personnel for enlistment before the end of 2019.
PCG Commandant Vice Admiral Joel Garcia urged natural-born Filipino citizens who are physically and mentally fit, as well as of good moral character to apply as a PCG officer or enlisted personnel by processing an application in any of the Coast Guard District across the country.
The minimum qualifications for a PCG officer: a four-year college degree, a professional civil service eligibility, and a passing mark at the PCG Aptitude Battery Test (ABT) for commissionship.
The entry-level salary for a commissioned officer with a rank of Ensign is PHP51,000.
