Manila, July 12 -- Francisco G. Dakila Jr. received his oath of office as Deputy Governor for Monetary and Economics Sector (MES) in ceremonies administered by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Benjamin E. Diokno on Thursday.
He succeeds former Deputy Governor Diwa Guinigundo, who recently retired.
As head of the MES, Dakila will provide overall supervision, management, and direction to monetary and financial policy, international monetary affairs, loans and credit, economic and financial literacy, among others.
