Manila, April 21 -- After ensuring the safety of the public during the Holy Week celebrations, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has enhanced its security coverage to include tourist destinations, malls and shopping centers in Metro Manila.
NCRPO director, Major Gen. Guillermo Eleazar said the redeployment of the bulk of their personnel is to make sure tourists and the public in general will not be victimized by criminals this summer season.
"With the end of the Holy Week break, we are expecting many tourists coming in to Metro Manila, especially to shopping malls and other places that's why we shall introduce the enhanced security coverage, including the deployment of additional policemen," Eleazar told the Philippine New...
