CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Oct. 23 -- Some 1,112 children in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija are now benefiting from the community-based milk feeding program that aims to address the malnutrition problem.

The move is a collaborative effort of the local government unit of Cuyapo and the Philippine Carabao Center (PCC), to supply the nutritional requirements of children and help them to grow healthy.

Aside from the nutritional benefits to children, the program that started on Thursday also supports and promotes the livelihood of carabao farmers as the commodity is sourced out from the milk yields collected from their farms.
