Manila, Jan. 24 -- A total of 37 nursing graduates from the Pamantasan Lungsod ng Marikina has successfully passed the 2019 Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE).
Marikina City Mayor Marcelino "Marcy" Teodoro was glad about the results, urging the new nurses to serve as an inspiration while being globally competitive.
"The best thing you could do is to pay it forward. When you pay it forward, it doesn't mean that you have something in terms of economic value, hindi naman ganoon (it's not like that). You can simply pay it forward by telling your stories to others who are also struggling so you can be an inspiration to them," Teodoro said in a statement on Friday.
