The actor played the role of Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan and has been a popular face ever since. He came back in spotlight during the nationwide coronavirus lockdown when the epic TV show got a rerun on Doordarshan and broke all previous records to become one of the most watched entertainment shows worldwide.
