India, Jan. 8 -- Poco has confirmed that the Poco M8 5G will launch in India on January 8 at 12pm IST. The phone will be in the low-end 5G category that will appeal to consumers seeking a long battery life, slim design, and Ai powered smart camera features at a reasonable cost.

The official announcement by the company indicates that the phone will have the 7.35mm slim profile, and it will be among the thinnest smartphones in its category. Poco has also hinted at having a vegan leather dual-tone rear finish, making the device a fashion-centred upgrade over the Poco M7 5G.
