Kenya's deputy President Dr William Ruto has called on Africa, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States to lead the way in the fight against terrorism which is threatening global peace and security around the world.

Speaking at the 110th Session of the ACP Council of Minister meeting, Dr Ruto said the need for a global approach in addressing its manifestation of the crime as well as the social, economic and political context in which it occurs.

"The threat of terrorism to global peace, as an evolving transnational menace requires a collective strategy, priority and response by the ACP, in addition to action taken by member states.
