Bhubaneswar, Nov. 23 -- Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh has been embroiled in legal trouble after allegedly failing to list his property in Goa with the Tourism Department.

The former all-rounder has been summoned for a hearing which is scheduled for December 8. Yuvi had put up his villa, 'Casa Singh', located at Morjim in North Goa, for homestay online without registering it with relevant authorities.

The villa, which has three bedrooms and as much bathrooms, was up as a homestay for a rental of Rs 1,212 a night excluding GST and other taxes.

The Tourism Department has asked the former southpaw to appear before the deputy director on December 8 at 11 am to defend his interest.
