Bhubaneswar, Nov. 25 -- The Winter Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly is set to commence on November 27, and the Commissionerate Police has strengthened security arrangements in view of President Droupadi Murmu's scheduled address.
As per the Bluebook guidelines, an extensive security plan has been reportedly put in place.
As per reports, Police Commissioner S Dev Datta Singh reviewed the security measures on Tuesday. A three-tier security arrangement will be enforced during the session. A total of 33 platoons of police force will be deployed, along with striking force units, STU, bomb disposal squads, dog squads, and personnel from the Fire Services department.
