Bhubaneswar, Nov. 16 -- Fourteen-year-old batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi, fresh off a blistering 144, admitted that his father remains hard to please no matter how big the score, while his mother celebrates every innings he plays.

Suryavanshi stole the spotlight at the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 by smashing 144 off just 42 balls - the joint second-fastest T20 century by an Indian. His knock included 15 sixes and 11 fours, and for a while, he looked on track to challenge the highest individual T20 score and possibly become the first player to hit a double century. His fiery innings ended when he was caught near the boundary in the 13th over.
