Bhubaneswar, May 23 -- Chandbali: At a time when family members are refusing to touch bodies of Covid-19 victims due to social stigma or fear attached to the pandemic, a Tehsildar and a BDO in Chandbali set a humanitarian precedent for the rest to follow.

According to reports, a 50-year-old man in Nalagohira village under Chandbali block in Bhadrak district passed away on Sunday while he was in home quarantine after recovering from Covid-19. However, family members including his son and neighbours refused to go near the dead body.
