Bhubaneswar, Dec. 15 -- India's T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav has opened up about his recent run of modest scores, clarifying that it should not be viewed as a dip in form. Confident of a turnaround, he said that runs are only a matter of time.
In the third T20I against South Africa on Sunday, which India won by seven wickets, Suryakumar made 12 off 11 deliveries before being dismissed by Lungi Ngidi. The knock extended a prolonged phase of underwhelming returns, with the batter registering 21 low scores in recent outings.
Despite the lean patch, Suryakumar has produced a few notable performances, including a 75 against Bangladesh in Hyderabad on October 24 and an unbeaten 47 versus Pakistan in the Asia Cup in September.
