Bhubaneswar, Sept. 11 -- The drugs control administration (DCA) raided Torque Pharmaceuticals in Bhubaneswar yesterday for allegedly selling medicines to unlicensed companies in Bhubaneswar.
The raids were conducted after the drugs control administration officials received a complaint against the pharmaceutical company. During the raid, nine samples of medicines were collected and sent for testing. Later, an FIR was lodged against Torque Pharmaceuticals.
"The company was selling its products in the market to unlicensed firms. An FIR has been lodged against the company regarding this," said Drugs Inspector, Dr. Sudarshan Biswal.
DCA has directed the drugs inspectors to keep an eye on such pharmaceutical companies.
