DHENKANAL, Jan. 30 -- Medical negligence can sometimes lead to deadly consequences. In one such incident, a youth died allegedly after being administered a wrong injection by a doctor at a private clinic in Dhenkanal.
As per reports, the youth Amir Kumar Jena, a resident of Baulpatna village under Odapada block of the district was admitted to the clinic by his family members after he complained of chest pain. Later, a doctor Ajit Tripathy administered an injection to the patient which the family members allege that was a wrong injection.
"I have lost my brother due to the wrong injection administered by the doctor. I demand strong action against the doctor and the laboratory officials for such negligence," said brother of the deceased.
