Bhubaneswar, Oct. 14 -- Ration card holders in Odisha who have not completed their e-KYC verification will not receive rice from next month, informed Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra on Tuesday.

The Minister stated that this decision comes after the Central Government stopped the e-KYC process. Currently, around 15.67 lakh beneficiaries in the state have yet to complete their e-KYC. Although they are still receiving rice at present, the distribution will be stopped from next month for those who fail to complete the process.
