Bhubaneswar, March 26 -- Bhubaneswar: With a resurgence in COVID cases across India, Odisha Health Department Director on Friday informed that the State has targeted to vaccinate a minimum of 1 Crore people, around 25% of the total population.

Speaking to the media, Bijay Panigrahi, the Director of Odisha Health Department said that the State has already registered 20.95 Lakh vaccinations till Thursday and has a target of 1.5 Lakh jabs each day.

As far as the stock of the vaccines is concerned, Panigrahi said that there are enough supply available with the department. It will receive another 5 Lakh doses of Covishield vaccines by Friday evening.
