Bhubaneswar, Oct. 21 -- A series of three consecutive low-pressure systems are likely to develop over the Bay of Bengal, one after another, in the coming days. While one system has already formed, meteorologist Sarat Sahu on Tuesday predicted that the second is expected around October 26, followed by a third around October 29.
According to Sahu, the current system may not intensify significantly but could trigger heavy rainfall in southern Odisha districts. The second system, expected to form between October 26-27, is likely to strengthen further, bringing a stronger impact compared to the present one.
