Bhubaneswar, Jan. 13 -- Sambalpur: As many as 19 students in Laikera block of Sambalpur district have tested positive for novel-Coronavirus.

This came just five days after schools were reopened for Class X and XIII students across the State after a gap of nine months.

According to Laikera block education officer, the 19 students who contracted the virus belong to three High Schools in the district.

The infected students have been asked to remain in home isolation. Besides, the premises, hostels and toilets of schools with the infections have been sanitised, sources said.
