Bhubaneswar, Aug. 31 -- Dhenkanal: Physical disability does not deter the efficiency at work if it is backed by strong determination and never back down attitude and this statement aptly goes with Odisha's Gokul Nayak who successfully carries out farming single-handedly despite being differently-abled.

Some twelve years ago, Gokul Nayak, the 67-year-old farmer of Biswanathpur village under Gondia block of Dhenkanal district, was travelling in a truck when he slipped from the vehicle and boulders fell on his legs. Doctors had to amputate his right limb in order to save his life.
