Bhubaneswar, Oct. 28 -- BJP is observing a 12-hour Sonepur Bandh on Thursday demanding the ouster of Minister of State for Home Dibya Shankar Mishra for his alleged close proximity with Gobinda Sahu, the prime accused in the Kalahandi school teacher Mamita Meher murder case. The party has also sought a CBI probe into the matter.

The Opposition party workers are observingthe bandh in all the five blocks, two NACs and one Municipality area of the district. The party had observed 12-hour Birmaharajpur Bandh on October 25.

Similarly, BJP has also called for Nuapada Bandh. The party workers will gherao SP office in Boudh today.
