Bhubaneswar, Jan. 11 -- In a major breakthrough against cybercrime, the Commissionerate Police on Sunday busted an inter-state cyber fraud gang and arrested 12 accused persons during a coordinated operation. The crackdown was carried out jointly by the Badagada Police Station and the Special Squad of the Commissionerate Police, following specific intelligence inputs about organised cyber fraud activities being run from the city.

According to police sources, the arrested cybercriminals are residents majorly from Bihar, Kerala, and Odisha.
