Bhubaneswar, Jan. 24 -- Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: A thick blanket of fog engulfed twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack and several parts of Odisha on Sunday morning severely affecting the vehicular movement in these regions.

"Fog started engulfing Bhubaneswar from 12 PM yesterday and was visible till the morning today. As a result, visibility reduced to as low as 50 metres," informed the Regional Meteorological Centre in its latest update today.

Similar fog condition also occurred in several places of Bhadrak, Puri, Jajpur, Berhampur and Balasore, added the Met centre.
