Bhubaneswar, Dec. 9 -- After facing inconvenience due to cold conditions, people in different parts of Odisha might heave a sigh of relief as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a gradual rise in the minimum (night) temperature.

IMD's Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar on Friday informed that the minimum temperature in several places of the state dropped below 10 degree Celsius with G.Udaygiri recording the lowest of 6 degrees and Phulbani 6.6 degrees in the past 24 hours.

The twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar recorded minimum temperature of 13.6 and 14.2 degree Celsius, respectively. As per IMD, the minimum temperature is likely to rise gradually in different parts of the state in the coming days.
