Bolangir, March 21 -- The Town Police today seized huge quantities of Corex syrup and detained four persons for illegally transporting the cough syrups in two trucks.
Acting on reports of cough syrup smuggling in the area, the Town Police conducted multiple raids at several places besides intensifying vehicle inspection drive to nab the drug peddlers.
Based on information about movement of suspicious vehicles through the town, a special team of police intercepted a truck which was travelling from Bhubaneswar to Bolangir and later also stopped another truck of Bolangir.
