CUTTACK, Oct. 14 -- A day after notorious criminal Ajay Sahu alias Jitu, one of the accused in recent Gurudijhatia loot and murder case, was nabbed during an encounter by Choudwar Police and Special Squad, police today arrested four more persons including Ajay's girlfriend and mother in connection with the incident.
On September 24, a gang of robbers looted cash and gold ornaments from one Lala Lalit Singh after opening fire at him near Nuapatna rice mill when he was en route to Dhenkanal from Puri along with his family. Singh succumbed to the headshot injury while undergoing treatment at SCB Hospital in Cuttack.
