GSI survey found gold deposits in Odisha's Deogarh: Union Minister in Parliament
Bhubaneswar, March 20 -- Union Minister of Coal and Mines, Pralhad Joshi on Monday informed that Adas block in Deogarh district of Odisha has presence of gold deposits.
In a written reply in Rajya Sabha, Joshi informed that the Geological Survey of India (GSI), during Field Season Programme (FSP) 2018-19 carried out 'general exploration' (G2) for base metal in Adas block. The survey revealed presence of gold as an associated metal, along with copper, said the Union Minister.
