Bhubaneswar, Dec. 23 -- Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida has sought a report on the alleged child marriage incident reported from Satabhaya village in Kendrapara district.

As per reports, Deputy CM Parida expressed concern over the matter while attending a state-level workshop on the prevention of atrocities committed on suspicion of witchcraft and child marriage, held in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

The Deputy Chief Minister said she has asked for a detailed report on the incident and assured that appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the law once the report is received.
