Rayagada, Jan. 9 -- A chit fund employee sustained grievous injuries after being attacked by unidentified miscreants in Dhamalima village under Kalyansinghpur Police limits of Rayagada district today. The injured has been identified as Shinmaya Pani, who is an employee of a chit fund company named 'Spandana.'
According to sources, three miscreants allegedly attacked Pani with sharp weapons injuring him critically when he was returning from Sikarpai area in the district after collecting money from the customers. The miscreants also robbed the money from him, added sources.
The employee was rescued by locals and was rushed to the Sikarpai hospital and his condition is stated to be stable now.
