Bolangir, Sept. 12 -- A team of Vigilance sleuths on Thursday raided the houses and office of the Manager of Bolangir District Central Cooperative (BDCC) Bank, Ashok Kumar Mohapatra on charges of accumulating properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Acting on a search warrant issued by the Court of Special Judge Vigilance and on the directions of Sambalpur SP (Vigilance), a team of anti-graft officials from six districts conducted simultaneous searches at four places including Mohapatra's office, his new residence at Dasmati Nagar, parental house at Malpada in Bolangir district.
The officials also conducted the raids on Mohapatra's son-in-law's house at Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district, said reports.
