Bhubaneswar, Dec. 26 -- The Bansidhar and Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF), the CSR wing of the Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA), has honoured the winners of the prestigious Prof Ghanashyam Dash Scholarship for Higher Education on Friday.

The prestigious scholarship is awarded every year to meritorious students pursuing professional degrees in engineering, medicine, STEM disciplines, and liberal arts.

Selected candidates receive financial assistance covering up to 90 per cent of their academic fees and eligible expenses, with support of up to Rs 6 lakh per recipient for a four-year course.

Established in 2005 by IMFA, the scholarship is named after renowned historian late Professor Ghanashyam Dash.
