Bhubaneswar, May 17 -- Bhubaneswar: In the backdrop of the unprecedented second wave surge in Covid-19 cases in the State, the Women and Child Development Minister Tukuni Sahu on Monday directed the department authorities for the registration of the pregnant women and children below six years among the returning migrant Odias at Anganwadi centers.

Sahu also directed the officials to extend the registration period under Mamata Yojana to seven months from earlier three months and provide the beneficiaries with the provisional service under the scheme. All the Anganwadi centers will provide the service to the beneficiaries with Covid-19 guidelines in place.
