Bhubaneswar, May 22 -- Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday emphasised on saving people's lives as he chaired a high-level virtual meeting to review the State's preparedness to deal with possible Cyclone Yaas over the Bay of Bengal.

Chief Secretary Suresh Mohapatra, Special Relief Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena and other senior officials of different departments attended the meeting.

While reviewing the preparedness, the Chief Minister directed the officials to keep the cyclone shelters ready for the evacuated people. He also directed the officials to keep sufficient amount of dry food available for the affected people.
