Bhubaneswar, May 19 -- Legendry batsman and former India captain Sunil Gavaskar slammed England pacer Jofra Archer for leaving the Mumbai Indians (MI) camp midway through the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

The speedster played just five matches for MI this year. He was forced to leave the ongoing edition of IPL on May 9 due to the recurrence of his elbow injury even before MI could finish their campaign. The move didn't go down well with the Little Master. As per Gavaskar, MI should not be paying Archer the full amount of Rs.8 crore they spent on him at the IPL 2022 auction.
