Bhubaneswar, Jan. 8 -- The revenue generation of Odisha has seen a growth of 19 per cent until the end of December against the corresponding period of the previous financial year, said an official on Tuesday.

The total revenue generation by December-end in last fiscal year (2017-18) was around Rs 25,023 crore, against which current year collection up to same period has been Rs 29,665 crore, the official said.

This was concluded at an all secretaries' meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi here on Tuesday.

The revenue from non-tax sources grew by 60 per cent with a total collection of Rs 8,556 crore while that from own-tax sources grew by 7 per cent with a total collection of Rs 21,109 crore.
