India, Sept. 28 -- The global alternative protein sector is at the forefront of food innovation, with billions of dollars invested in plant-based, cultivated, and fermentation-derived meat, eggs, and dairy foods.

The upcoming Smart Protein Summit by the Good Food Institute India (GFI India) will convene Indian and global leaders in support of the exciting alternative protein sector over October 6-10, and articulate a vision for the growth of the sector in India.

The event will bring together over 1500 leaders and attendees from science, business, and policy to learn more about alternative protein and its potential in India and the broader developing world.
