LUCKNOW, Nov. 20 -- Prayagraj Municipal Corporation has given a notice to Anand Bhavan, the ancestral residence of the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, for not depositing house tax. Prayagraj Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi said on Wednesday, "A notice for depositing house tax of Rs four crore 35 lakh has been sent to Anand Bhavan."

He said, "It is registered as an archaeological building and its tax has not been collected." The officials of Anand Bhavan also claimed that this building has been handed over to the government as an Archaeological Building.
