NEW DELHI, Nov. 8 -- On Friday, three years of demonetisation took place in the first regime of Modi government. On 8 November 2016, PM Modi announced the closure of 500 and 1000 notes in the country at eight o'clock at night.
Everyone was impressed by this decision of the government. And hardly anyone can forget the date of 8 November. It slowly seems to distance itself from its decision to discontinue 500 and one thousand notes.
The government may claim that the demonetisation move was right, but the government has failed to present any concrete data regarding its success. On completion of three years of the same demonetization, the Congress has once again surrounded the Modi government.
