New Delhi, Aug. 28 -- Shinzo Abe's resignation as Japan's Prime Minister will trigger a vote in his Liberal Democratic Party to replace him as its leader. Japan's Deputy PM Taro Aso, who's also the Finance Minister, is first-in-line, followed by Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga. Defence Minister Taro Kono, ex-Defence Minister Shigeru Ishiba and Ex-Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida are other potential PM candidates.
