New Delhi, July 25 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed sadness at the loss of lives in the tragic accident in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. In his message, Mr. Modi extended condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured. He also annouced an ex-gratia of two lakh rupees from Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to the next of kin of each deceased. Yesterday Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation bus met with an accident and fell into a deep gorge near Tarangla, close to Maseran in the Sarkaghat sub-division of Mandi district, resulting in the death of 8 people and injuries to 21 others.
