New Delhi, June 18 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi met European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Kananaskis, Canada.
PM Modi is representing India at the G7 for the sixth time. India is among key outreach partners at this year's summit, along with Australia, South Africa, South Korea, Mexico, and Ukraine. Heads of international bodies including the United Nations and the World Bank are also attending.
The 2025 G7 Summit, hosted by Canada, is focused on pressing global issues such as economic stability, climate change, artificial intelligence, and rising geopolitical tensions.
