New Delhi, Jan. 28 -- Flight operations to and from Srinagar International Airport resumed Wednesday, a day after all flights were canceled due to snowfall in Kashmir, officials said.
An official of the Airports Authority of India said the first flight landed at 9:25 a.m. and normal operations were expected through the day if weather conditions remained stable.
Earlier, the Srinagar airport said on its official X handle that the runway, taxiway and apron had been cleared of snow and were ready for operations.
"Following improvement in weather conditions, the runway, taxiway and apron have been cleared and are now ready for operations. However, visibility is currently on the lower side due to haze conditions," the airport said.
