New Delhi, July 23 -- In another setback for India, fast bowler Akash Deep has been ruled out of the fourth Test against England in Manchester, starting Wednesday, due to a groin niggle.

Skipper Shubman Gill confirmed the development, adding to India's growing list of injuries ahead of the must-win clash. All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has already been ruled out of the series, while pacer Arshdeep Singh will also miss the Manchester Test.

Akash Deep had been instrumental in India's win at Edgbaston, where he claimed a match haul of 10 wickets. With his absence, uncapped pacer Anshul Kamboj is now "very close to making his debut," with team management expected to choose between him and Prasidh Krishna.
