New Delhi, Jan. 27 -- European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Monday said on 'X' that a "successful India" makes the world more "stable, prosperous, and secure", benefiting the entire world.

India is celebrating its 77th Republic Day, with President Droupadi Murmu presiding over the grand festivities at New Delhi's Kartavya Path.

As per tradition, the national flag was unfurled by President Murmu, followed by the national anthem and a thunderous 21-gun salute using 105 mm light field guns, an indigenously developed artillery system.
