New Delhi, Dec. 14 -- World's first hospital on wheels, the hospital train, Lifeline Express, on Saturday, reached Subedar railway station in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. For 20 days, the train is scheduled to remain boarded at the railway station till January 8, 2020.

"This train is the world's first moving hospital which is a blessing for the needy and financially weak people. The train is equipped for doing treatment for several serious diseases," said UP government spokesperson and Cabinet Minister Siddharth Nath Singh after conducting an inspection of the train.
