New Delhi, July 12 -- In the wake of the violation of the rules set up by the National Green Tribunal (NGT), 14 builder projects in Noida have been slapped with a fine of Rs 2 lakh each.
The fine was imposed on the projects by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority on Thursday.
Also, the concerned authority has warned the builders of imposing another fine of Rs 5 lakh, if the violation of the NGT norms occurs for the second time that will be followed by another fine of Rs 10 lakh of the violation for the third time. It said, if the illegal action continues for the fourth time, the authority will take act against them as per the lease deed.
