New Delhi, July 23 -- 34 persons convicted concurrently by the trial court and the Delhi High Court and having been sentenced to five years imprisonment for rioting and arson in Trilokpuri area during the anti-Sikh riots of 1984, were granted bail relief on Tuesday by the top court.

Citing lack of direct evidence, the Supreme Court on July 5, acquitted seven people in the concerned case, following which the Delhi Police had filed to conduct a review on their acquittal.
