New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- People in Kamalbati village in West Bengal's Hooghly district, laid a scathing attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress on how badly the social welfare schemes were operated in the region.

The move comes after a TMC MLA Manas Majumdar travelled to the village as part of the Gramey Chalo (Go to Villages) campaign, launched by Mamata didi in order to outreach people and give them a chance to vent their grievances.
