New Delhi, Dec. 13 -- The Lok Sabha on Thursday gave its nod for the passage of Central Sanskrit Universities Bill, 2019 to upgrade three deemed Sanskrit universities into Central universities. Soon after the bill was approved by the Lower House, Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank informed, "Under this Bill three deemed Sanskrit universities (Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, New Delhi and Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Tirupati) have been made central universities."
