New Delhi, July 23 -- A massive fire broke out in Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) exchange building in Mumbai's Bandra.

Nearly 14 fire tenders have been moved to the spot of incidence with the Mumbai Fire Brigade, taking help of the robots that have been newly introduced, to advance efforts in the rescue operation.

So far the rescue teams have been successful in rescuing 60 of the total 100 people stuck in the building while remaining 40 are still trapped inside the building fire.

Reported by Times Now, the fire department said, "A short-circuit in the building could have been the cause of the massive fire."

So far, no casualties have been reported.
